Deadlines set by the Rules can be changed by a Court’s Order within your proceeding or by Court Notice. If in doubt, check the Orders/Endorsements in your proceeding and CourtNoticeFinder.ca (Search Your Courthouse / Local Courthouse Notices).
📄 Note about Service
Family Law Rule 6 states that documents served over the weekend, on a holiday, or after 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, are considered served on the next business day.
